For I am now ready to be offered, an d the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good

fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a

crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and

not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

~2 Timothy 4:6-8~

Apostle Brian Lewis, an esteemed spiritual leader, passionate musician, and cherished pillar of his community, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Ochsner Medical Center-Kenner. He leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, love, and devotion that will continue to inspire generations to come. Born on December 27, 1966, to the late Joe Lewis, Jr. and the late Rosemary Lewis, his life was a testament to the power of faith ad the transformative influence of music.

A graduate of L.B. Landry High School, Class of 1987. Apostle Lewis displayed a remarkable enthusiasm for music and learning from a young age, foreshadowing the profound impact he would have in the fields of spirituality and musical education. His journey begin with his licensure by the late Rev. Lucien R. Garrett of the First Baptist Church of Vacherie oon August 20, 1992, a pivotal moment that set him on the path to becoming a respected spiritual leader. He was the minister of music for many  years at The First Baptist Church of Vacherie, LA, New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Joseph Johnson, Beech Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Cory Batiste, and many other churches that God allowed him to play for.

On March 6, 1993, Apostle Lewis married the love of his life, Apostle Monica Lewis which he would always say, "that's my good thing" They became a team in ministry working hand in hand. They were known by many as "Team Lewis", and were blessed with two beautiful children. Prophetess Ka'Jah Antoine and Minister Jaron Brian Lewis, Jr.

Apostle Brian Lewis served under the late Prophet R. C. Blakes, Sr. for 30 plus years. He traveled wherever the Prophet went and served as his personal musician. Sitting under the Prophet is where Apostle Brian Lewis learned the true meaning of what faith really is. The late Prophet R.C. Blakes, Sr., always stated that "Faith doesn't make sense, but it does make a miracle". It was because of the tutelage , guidance, and wisdom from the Prophet that reared a faith-wailing man such as Apostle Brian Lewis, Sr. Everything that Apostle Lewis has accomplished was done by an act of faith. When others considered it strange, when others considered it hard to get done, and when others believed it would never happen, Apostle Brian Lewis's response was that it would get done, and it would get done by faith. When God called Apostle Brian to open FREE Ministries Family Worship Center, he spoke to Prophet, and Prophet's words to him where, "God had already spoken to him, and he was just waiting on him". Prophet then released him with his blessings to go and do what God called Him to do.

In September 1999, he received his teacher certification in biblical and theological studies from Robert Charles Blakes Bible College and Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA further solidifying his commitment to deepening his spiritual understanding and nurturing the growth of his congregation. God connected him with a good fiend in Paris, France Mr. Collins Gravois, who he loves dearly.
