ELIJAH DEMETRIUS KAMONTE MOORE

Elijah Demetrius Kamonte Moore was born on November 8, 2003, in Baton Rouge LA to Stacey Ellis, Sr. and Cassandra Edwards. He departed his life on Tuesday June 20, 2023, at the age of 19 years old. 

Elijah was a loving, caring, and affectionate young man. He was a very family-oriented person he loved to joke and laugh. He enjoyed church services, playing sports (football and basketball) and rapping. He loved teaching and playing with his dog Pablo. Elijah attended Istrouma high school before encountering some challenges in his young life.  

Elijah leaves to cherish his memories his parents Stacey Ellis Sr and Cassandra Edwards. Two sisters Quantrella Edwards and Precious Brown. Six brothers Kedrick, Darrion & Derrick Edwards. Aaron (Quinoa), Samuel III & Stacey Jr Ellis. One nephew Aaron Ellis Jr. Four nieces Ka’Myra Edwards, Ariana, Deshyric and Khylei Ellis . One grandmother and grandfather Samuel Ellis Sr  and Lois Ellis. Two uncles Carlton Edwards and Samuel (Renetta) Ellis II. Three special friends Freddy, Bradley & Kentrell. A host of great aunts, cousins, and other relatives. 

Elijah was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Sandra Edwards and Adolph Hill. Two great grandmother Irma Edwards and Bertice Cooley. One great grandfather Johnny Edwards.
