Jeffrey L. Wallace,Sr.

March 12, 1965 — February 3, 2025

Atlanta, GA

Jeffrey Lee Wallace, Sr. was born on March 12, 1965, the second child to proud parents Tommie L. Wallace Sr. and Mozell Wallace in Atlanta, Georgia. Jeffrey graduated from F.D. Roosevelt High School in Atlanta, Georgia.

Afterwards he matriculated to the Fort Valley State College where he majored in Math Education. Jeff was a lover of math; he never received a grade lower than an A throughout his education. He was initiated into the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity. He was known as the "Comedian," by his fraternity brothers. He was forever true to his gold and blue. He loved attending FVSU homecoming, football games, and fellowshipping with his fraternity brothers.

Jeff loved playing pool whenever he got the opportunity. Some of his favorite games: spades, bid whist, chess, and centipede. He was a straight trash talker when it came to playing cards. Most people knew Jeff was good behind a grill. He always offered a helping hand when ever needed. And he gave his opinion about how grilling should be done. Along with that familiar giggle or laugh. He was always a jokester.

Jeff started his career at Double Tree Hotel where he met his former spouse Carolyn Keith. The two were united in marriage November 1996. To this union, one son was born: Jeffrey Lee Wallace, Jr.

In October of 2002, Jeffrey was hired by the Phoenix Wholesale Foods of Forest Park, Georgia where he dedicated 22 years of service.

Jeffrey was a member of It’s All About Jesus International Ministries under the pastorate of Apostle Jean Forts where he served as a deacon of the church and was a devoted Christian.

Those that remain to cherish his memories are his son Jeffrey Lee Wallace, Jr; siblings, Emily W. Lackey, Tommie L. (Mellanee), both of Austell, GA, Alex Wallace of College Park, GA.; three bonus children, Antrellis, Jontavius, and Shaquanya Keith; one grandson, Josiah Brown; one Aunt, Elizabeth (Amos) McCants; one Uncle, T.J. Wallace both of Atlanta, GA.; a special friend, Sherrie Price of Atlanta, GA; nieces, Satorie Wallace, Laurian Lackey, and Myah Wallace; nephews, Kelston Lackey and Tahj Smith. Great niece, great nephews, and a host of cousins, friends and fraternity brothers.
