Pamela Delores Taylor

Pamela Delores Taylor was born to the late Melvin and Pearlie Taylor on June 22, 1958 in Franklinton, LA. She departed this earth on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the age of 66 after a long battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Pam was a proud graduate of Franklinton High School Class of 1976 then later moved to Hammond, LA to attend Southeastern Louisiana University where she completed 3 years of college in the field of education and met partner, Phillip Jones to whom they raised four children. Pam managed several businesses within her career and was in the field of Southern Hospitality before her health declined. 

Loved by so many, Pam always had a serene demeanor and a compassionate heart that touched so many. A beautiful, hardworking Mother, Grandmother with many passions. Pam loved her children and grandchildren dearly. 

Pamela was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Grant and Arsenia Barnes; Lawrence Sr. and Della Taylor; father Melivn Taylor; one brother, Johnny Ray Taylor; one granddaughter, Brooklyn Taylor. 

Pamela leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Pearlie Taylor; partner, Phillip “Peewee” Jones; sons, Phillip “Metric” Jones; Shalamar “Fuzzy” Taylor; Leonard “ Tweet” Perkins; two daughters , Princess “Fred” Taylor; Shawnekia “Shawn” Taylor Walker (Michael); one brother ; Hilton Taylor (Vicki); one sister, Marsha “Kim” Taylor (Corey); 14 Grandchildren, Zereoue, Nikia (Kietrich), Zharia, Nyrein Jones; Kelan Palmer, Aden Taylor; Michael Jr. and Serenity Walker; Landen and Sa’Miree Ducree; Isaiah Tousaint, Sha’Lynn, Shaila and Sa’Miya Taylor; 3 Great Grands, Kietrick Jr. and Kayson Seriale; Javier Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
