Stephanie Renee Jones

January 16, 1965 - February 29, 2024

On February 29, 2024, Stephanie gained her wings. Stephanie was born at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, La in 1965. She was baptized at Our Lady of the Lake Church on February 7, 1965. Stephanie was the daughter of Mildred Simon Jones, Calvin Williams SR. and Henry Lawrence Jones. She went to school in Mandeville until her senior year of high school, she graduated from Joseph S. Clark High School in 1983 with her brother Calvin Williams Jr. She attended UNO in New Orleans and studied Finance. She worked at First NBC Bank until her Multiple Sclerosis would not allow her to work anymore. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1992. Stephanie always had a “glass half full attitude” despite her situation. She always knew what was going on in the world and kept up on the newest things. She loved to talk about recipes, kitchen gadgets and loved to read. She was very particular about everything.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church on Saturday March 16, 2024 at 11:00am.

She is preceded in death by her parents. One brother Calvin Williams Jr. Stephanie is survived by her son Ross N. Jones. Three brothers: Kimball L. Jones of Philippines, Travis(Karen) Williams of New Orleans, Cy(Torrie) Williams of Prairieville, La. Two sisters, Stacie Williams of New Orleans and Kayla Nyree Jones-Jackson of Mandeville La. One nephew Kimball S. Jones. Two Godchildren Robert J. Brown and Elizabeth Spicer.

She also leaves to cherish her memory: her aunt Earline S. Barron, her loving caregiver Erika Lasjon, her special friend Carl Jenkins, cousins and good friends.
